Electro-Fenton systems use controlled DC current to support reactions involving electrode chemistry, oxygen delivery and peroxide generation or regeneration. The rectifier supplies the electrical load, while water chemistry, electrode area, gas transfer and residence time determine process response.
This compact 36V 50A air-cooled rectifier is a reference supply for pilot cells and modular electro-Fenton skids. It provides an adjustable electrical range for commissioning and repeatable treatment cycles.
Key functions for electro-Fenton systems
- Adjustable DC voltage and current: set the load around electrode area, conductivity and target current density.
- Constant-current or constant-voltage operation: select the mode that matches the reactor and pilot data.
- Smart local control: view output values and adjust the working setpoint at the cabinet.
- Start/stop and alarm integration: coordinate the supply with circulation, oxygen or air delivery and skid safety signals.
- Forced-air cooling: support normal operation when airflow and clearance are provided.
- Optional timing or reset: configure the operating sequence around the treatment cycle.
These functions manage the electrical input and do not guarantee a fixed COD or oxidation result.

Final selection should check electrode area, current density, conductivity, oxygen or air supply, cell connection and treatment cycle.
Connecting and selecting the supply
Connect the DC outputs to the electrode busbars with conductors sized for continuous current and cable distance. Confirm liquid level, circulation and gas-delivery conditions before enabling output.
Select current from effective electrode area and target current density, then verify voltage across the complete cell over expected conductivity and temperature ranges.
See the electrochemical wastewater rectifier range for other configurations. For a larger electro-Fenton load, compare the 1000A 18V electro-Fenton rectifier.
Can 50A alone define treatment performance?
No. Performance depends on water chemistry, electrode area, oxygen transfer, current density and treatment time.
Is timing the same as process control?
No. Timing coordinates an electrical cycle; the complete process still requires circulation, gas and water-quality control.
Can the supply guarantee COD removal?
No. Representative testing is needed to establish the operating window.
